Movement through movement of movement of light

I cut out the shape of the coin with a stanley blade, I left the diameter intact so that it would be possible to flip around the circular shape. By inserting the black discs it allows the depth to stand out more.

Coin Print

 I used the same technique that I used in the print I made of the notes of money.

Pop*

 I made this piece buy using a sharp blade and tracing the shapes of money- I like the way it creates the 3d image by just a simple pop in the paper.

It adds volume and I like the shadows that are created from different angles.

Moving on

My Project is now more focused on the shape of the money rather than the actual piece of money itself- a more abstract look into "Movement and Motion".

 These spirals made from green wire will be cut into circular coin shapes that will be tied with light wire.
